Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Publication Schedule

  • March Issue: Manuscripts submitted on or before January 31
  • June Issue: Manuscripts submitted on or before April 30
  • September Issue: Manuscripts submitted on or before July 31
  • December Issue: Manuscripts submitted on or before October 31

All submissions are subject to peer review and acceptance. Meeting a submission deadline does not guarantee publication in that target issue, as final publication timing depends on the duration of the review and revision process.

  1. Authors can submit the manuscript without the ORCID ID (ORCID is not compulsory)
  2. Authors should attach the review fee (N5, 000) receipt immediately after attaching the manuscript at the same page.
  3. Manuscript Structure:

Font and Page numbers: Times New Roman, size 12, line spacing 1.5. Page number should not exceed 10 pages for research paper, and 15 pages for review paper.

Title: capitalize first letter of each word while conjunctions and prepositions should begin with small letter

Abstract: it should not be in italics. Only Scientific names should be in italics. Abstract should not exceed 250 words.

Keywords: Add 3 to 5 keywords that are not already in the title of the manuscript

Main text: All sections should be numbered

Methods: All original research articles must have a data analysis section, stating the statistical analysis method used.

Results: this should be separated from discussion. All tables and figures should be cited before presenting them. Write Figure and Table in full (Don’t use Fig.).

Discussion: this should be a section separated from results. Recent literatures should be cited

Conclusion: This should be brief and conclude the major findings only with a brief recommendation.

Acknowledgement: acknowledged any funding, grants, institutional help and scientific contributions in brief.

Author contribution: use author initials not full name of authors due to double blind peer review. For example, the Author name "Aisha Idris" can be "AI". Please don’t use full name of authors

Conflict of Interest section: Provide the statement

References:

  • Include authentic DOIs for all references where available. Do not include a DOI if one is not available
  • All reference should be in APA style.
  • All et al., should not be in italics.
  • All citations must be listed in the final reference and vice versa

Authors are strictly responsible for updating all contributor details directly in the journal system. Please ensure every co-author is added to the metadata along with a valid, functional email address. Unlisted co-authors or those without valid email addresses cannot be added by the editorial team and will not appear on the journal website or metadata indexing. Note: Full author lists will still appear on the final published PDF.
